I have a couple of suggestions for the site:

1) How bout a friends section in peoples profiles? Something to list the friends you have! Kinda like DA has.

I know a free pic editor kinda like photoshop.
Its called GIMPshop. Its like Photoshop, but free.

Try saving the image as a different file type (.jpg .png .gif)
