Ugh, I keep trying to upload this picture but it keeps coming up as broekn, and I don't know why. I changed the format and made it smaller but it is still showing up as broken.Please help ;_; This is the image:

What program did you save it with . . . is it by any chance Adobe Photoshop 7.0?

All I can offer are general tips. In the Save As dialog box, make absolutely sure that you select the format from the "Save As Type" dialog box and don't merely change the filename's extension. I took a close look at the file (i.e. in a hex editor) and it is most definitely not a JPEG formatted image. I did find the words "Adobe Photoshop 7.0 2004:07:25 05:03:55" in the file header though, so I'm suspecting it might still (somehow) be saved in Photoshop 7 format.

Grr! *stabs PhotoShop* It told me it was saving it as JPEG! TT_TT Thanks for advice, I will try again

Actually, I was just taking guesses. Not many standard image formats allow text fields in their image header, so to see the phrase "Adobe Photoshop 7.0" was pretty suspicious....

For example, when viewing an image through a hex editor, bitmaps always start with "BM" and the rest is all hex, JPEG's always start with "JFIF" and the rest is all hex, and GIF's start with "GIF" and the rest is all hex. I didn't see any such markings on that file, so it's not one of those formats.

An easy way to check if the file was saved in the right format is to open it right back up [i]in MS Paint[/i]. MS Paint can load bmp, gif, and jpeg files these days, and if Paint can't do it, then the image wasn't saved with one of those formats.

Just so you know, one of my programs (LView Pro) actually did a half-decent job of loading the picture, and by 'half-decent' I mean that you don't wind up with random garbage or a program crash (see attached). There IS an image in there, I just don't have anything to load it properly. And unfortunately LView doesn't tell me what filter it used to get even that far, so I can't say with certainty what format it really is.

All I have is a guess that it might still be saved as a Photoshop formatted image.
