Fanfics

today, i have submitted 3 pieces of art, and have just gone to add a fanfic, but am unable to do so. So does this mean that fanfic are included in the 3 upload limit?
if this isnt the case, how do you add a fanfic? chrislock

Yes it is

that will be changed as part of the major remake improvement of the sites fanfiction features.

The 10 Most Recent only lists pictures, it doesn't list recent fics.

When in doubt, check out your FAC profile page (at the bottom where it lists the online users, click your name) and the submitted fics should appear there.

No! Not that! I mean when I go see if I have comments on my fic,I can only see my first chapter.But when I try to go to my second chapter it doesn't show up! It only shows: add comment and stuff like that! <_<

that happened to me. it seems that new 'uploading' thing for additional chapters makes them come up blank.

click 'edit' and put the second chapter in as you did the first.

I accidentaly made 2 separate fanfics that are exactly alike!! How do I delete them? I tried clicking the [Delete] button, but it just bring me back to my profile, and nothing changes. PLEASE HELP!! :huh:

I knew id make it worst. I tried going to my fanfics, and deleting all the chapters, but that just left me with the cover page. <_< How do I delete the entire story?

1. DON'T PANIC.

2. Learn to accept:
- That just because something went wrong doesn't always mean it's your fault for it,
- That there are bugs in the site which need to be fixed,
- That the webmaster (cstdenis) is the only one who can fix them,
- And that he is very, very busy.

3. Be patient.

Once you wait a while, and youstill have these problems, contact someone on the aproval pannel, and they would be more than happy to check your acount, to see if there was a problem with your submission, and will gladly offer you the best possible solutions to solve your problem. I had the exact same problem here... But I shall be patient and wait for all things to be better. It's the only thing we can do so I'll grin and bear it. ^_^

Since you're registered/logged in and all, find a post by a moderator, near the bottom of it there may be a little button called "Email" that you can use to send them an e-mail.

There's also a little button labelled "PM" that you can use to send them a private message, which is similar to sending them an e-mail.

While I'm tickled you think so highly of me, seriously, on the left, just a little ways under our av's, do you see on mine where it says [b]Group: Members[/b]?

That's right, I'm just a normal forum member, no special privileges or anything. ^_^

Now you can identify moderators because instead of saying "Group: Members" it will say [b]Group: Moderators[/b].

No good. Is there a reason why it takes me to a blank page whenever I click the E-mail button? I tried PM'ing someone...fallen, if memory serves me correctly. I hope he hears this... . . . .

Well...another problem might be how your saving it. If you look, you'll see that it say fanfics are only accepted in Word document, text only, rich text, text only with line break, word perfect, and some other ones that I didn't memorize because I never use them. So you can try saving it to a different, er file? Not sure what to put it under. Anyway, that should work. Thought recently I've noticed that no matter how I save it, my stories aren't showing up. It'll probably go away soon.... I hope...

The same thing happened to me...exept...different. Well...see, The first time I tried to upload the [i]first[/i] chapter it wouldn't show up. I did what it said and everything. I tried a second time too. :wacko: help?
