If you are using Windows 95/98/me/2000/xp use windows update (should be under your browser's tools menu, and/or in your start menu)
if you are using a mac, it has its own updater program get the latest safari _________________ You will obey or molten silver will be poured into your ears. |

this may be a really stupid question, but its just something I overheard.
is png suppose to take over for the gif files?
I was just wondering. _________________ 'It has been said that politics is the second oldest profession. I have learned that it bears a striking resemblance to the first.' - Ronald Reagan |

PNG is basically a replacement for gif.
It has lossless compressions like gif (jpeg is lossy) but without the 256 color limit that gif has.
Its basically the best of both worlds.
Slow to catch on because of limited support, but most software supports it now.
IE6 supports it basically, but unfortionately not its advanced transparency and transluncy features. _________________ You will obey or molten silver will be poured into your ears. |

that is excellent because this program Im running had png as an option. Im old time and alwayys ask first. and also thanks about the info on the gif's over jpg's. I was always under the impression 16 mil vs 256 what sounds better! till I saw all the bleeding in jpg's when I matched them up.
I know this is of subject but in rotation there is one banner that onlt comes up as a red "x". I wonder if thats mine? I sent a gif verson of the banner...I dont know if that matters.
