Well, it's been a long time since I've been here, back in the day when you could just load up your pic and not have to wait an hour or so for it to be approved. I was surprised to see this new policy taking place but I was okay with it. I mean, it's a good measure to prevent "visual" spam or stolen pics. However, when I turned in two oil paintings of my mom and dad I recieved an unwelcome email. Basically, my work was rejected. The reason was that I couldn't post photos. Okay... part of me is honored they thought my work looked like photographs, but another part of me thinks this sucks. I emailed back saying this was a mistke and that my works really ARE paintings but I haven't recieved anything back. So, my question is, what should I do now? How do I prove to them my works aren't photographs but real paintings?
Here's one of them, of my dad. |

It still looks like a painting to me (I see brush strokes).

Yeah, I thought the brushstores and blending (especially on the walls) were a dead giveaway. |

I don't think I've ever seen a photograph with that nice color quality. Like, what house has that pattern of color on it?
Very nice work, I hope this is cleared up for you. _________________ 222.

Approval panel people occasionally make mistakes and dont always check as thoroughly as they should. At hundreds of pics a day, some mistakes are bound to happen. _________________ You will obey or molten silver will be poured into your ears. |

Hey Rat, if you haven't already done so, try submitting them again. It might have just been a mix-up caused by overworked AP staff flipping through a large queue.... _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA
