Anyone here getting WoW? Hehehe I sooooooo want it I was in the Beta trust me if you like mmorpgs this is for you. It is sooooooooo awsome, I want it I want it I want it ok sorry ima ranting but ima so excited it is my first day here on fanart and I am so excited about the game it is so good good good Very Happy

I was in the closed and open beta its an amazing game, but its just too much of a time sink for me to keep playing in the paid version.
I may get it in several months, but after the months of beta playing I'd had enough of tedious hacking creatures for low droprate quest items

I'm not going to pay money to play a game after I already bought the game. I don't care if the servers are big and expensive, if you play for a long time it could cost you a lot of money.

I'll be playing guild wars when it's for sale, because it's basicly a mmorpg, but without monthly paying for it. And I like the overall graphical style better than in WoW. I played the beta of guild wars, and it's very team oriented. No so called grinding for items either.

Guildwars had potential, I liked the team arena type of combat and it had some interesting potential. But IMO, the engine is inferior in graphics, and I didn't like the lack of jump ability. Maybe It'll get better later with further development.

I thought the graphics were actually pretty good. Not as detailed as WoW, but the engine can handle lots of stuff going on at the same time in the screen and you can see very far too, so you get nice panoramic landscape views. And the system requirements aren't as high as WoW either, so it's fairer to all the people with low to mid end systems.

I really like it because there are no stupid dwarves, elves, orks and other done to death races. And mages are not completely godlike in comparison to fighter classes in the higher levels, like we see in most rpg's.

Maybe I'd like WoW too, but if I get to chose between a game with a monthly fee and a game without it, it's an easy choice for me.
