A topic like this should belong in the Help subforum....

Anyway, what program are you using to save your pictures in?

For starters, MAKE SURE that you use the "Save As Type" drop-down list in the Save As dialog box. You can't simply give your file a different extension and expect the program to know that it's supposed to save in that format . . . most programs aren't that smart. Wink

I see... MS Paint, correct? So just make sure to select JPEG, GIF, or PNG from the dropdown list and aren't just typing in a .jpg extension while the dropdown list still says "24-bit bitmap" . . . pick the desired format from the dropdown list and then give the picture the file extension to match. Wink If you only do one or the other, you risk ending up with, say, a picture that says ".gif" but's really a bitmap, or a picture that says ".bmp" but is really a JPEG....

BTW, I'd recommend either GIF or PNG for MS Paint drawings. JPEG's good for scanned art but not for paint or oekaki drawings.

Ouch, that means your MS Paint simply does not have GIF/JPEG capabilities.

Okay... ah, I know. Go grab yourself a copy of something like LView Pro, it has support for converting pretty much all image types you'll need.

The really older versions of LView Pro (if you can find them) are shareware, whereas the newer versions (with more features) are trialware for like a 21-day period or so. Here are a few links:
