Help...

Okay. I signed up to this site a few days ago because it was a new place to submit my art. Well, I submit 3 pictures...one of Rei Hino (from Sailor Moon), a character I made up called Apu Lear, and another one of Eternal Sailor Mars. Okay, please keep in mind that I did these pictures myself - my website is http://www.geocities.com/geminiart2 And well, someone reports me for abuse...um...okay? Isn't that for stolen pictures or something? How can I steal my own work? :huh: Hm? Anyway, I try uploading a manga fanart of Chibiusa I did from Sailor Moon...and you know what I get? Rejected. Why? It said "no official art scans." What the....How in the world can it be an official art scan when I made up the pose, the colors, and everything else in the world? Okay, go to the website above and go under fanart and click on the pink image (the 5th one) on the main right...does that look like an official art scan to you? Can you find this anywhere else? Did Naoko (the creator of Sailor Moon) do that? No. The only place to find these pictures is on my and my sister's website, and anywhere else where it is under my name. This is really annoying me because the people here think I don't do my own work. Someone is reporting abuse on my own pictures, and I'm being rejected for artwork that magically appears to be art scans. Um, someone reported an image stolen of a character I made up. How in the world???? Like I said, I didn't delete your pictures and I don't know who did. The only reason I rejected your picture is because I thought it was an artbook scan, I didn't know you actually drew it. I haven't accepted it yet because I feel your comment was a little RUDE.

Oh, okay. I thought someone else reported it was stolen or something. Thanks for the clarification. I didn't mean to sound rude or anything, it's just frustrating sometimes.

Yeah, I understand. Someone might have reported the other ones stolen, and that's why they were deleted. I'm not quite sure who deleted them, though. I'll tell you more if I find out.

Sadly, much skilled art on this site turns out to be stolen or artbook scans.

Looking at your deleted pictures:
Styles are not consistant (which often (not always) means stolen art)

The deletion reason reported is:

thats not your site.

Edit: Ok, I can see your site is split up among multiple hosts, one of which includes the one you posted.

I'll send a email to the address listed on the site to validate your claim. (we get some persistant art theives so understand the need to validate your claim)

Btw, your pics are still there, just hidden. If I discover you didn't steal them, I will restore them.

You're website pisses me off - you have geocities ads inside your table. It is sooo annoying, particulary because you have another geocities ad up the top of the page as well. Yeah, I know you didn't put those ads there, but you could always change your code so you don't get them inside your table text.

Perhaps another host would be better.

Spaceports and crosswinds are ones I was quite happy with in the past.

They are not as good as they once were, but still may be better than what you have now.
