can you use a digital camera to color and style your pics on Adobe Photoshop 7.0 or do you have to use a scanner to do all that stuff? I don't know if I should waste money on getting Adobe Photoshop 7.0 because all I have is a digital camera and no scanner.

Digital cameras are generally poor substitutes for a scanner.

It will still work, but unless your drawing already has a high contrast to it (like this), the camera won't be able to "see" the picture very well, and it'll be hard for it to not come out all muddied and shtuff like this (or worse) .

A scanner is the better tool for the job, not the least reason being that you have more direct control over its contrast/exposure settings than digital cameras allow.

I agree with strata. a scanner is definetly better. if you can try to find a friend or family member who has a scanner, use there's.

or go to a library or an open school. they mostly have places with scanners that are free to use and there is usually a computer. if you cant afford a scanner that is...... Cool
