People get away with large sigs on a regular basis.

I'd hate to call it 'rubber-band' enforcement, I.e., lax until a certain point, then SNAP!

there's always people with huge sigs or gross avatars, but most of the mods & admins tell them to stop. everywhere there's an community on the web, there's always a group of n00bs and spammers to wreck everything. <_<
