I really don't know the difference but i wish i could just say all music, but mainly rock, there is something about it , maybe im just happy about the lack of booty shaking girls, which i hate and i am glad to not really see any of that, i don't know but.......the lyrics are always so sensless but i like them, most actually have a meaning or are saying something and so they like automaticly become emo or goth, but thats stupid just because they aren't mindless yelling on how god hates us doesnt mean its still rock, yep, but, rock for me?

hmmm id have to say black metal real black metal not that stuff people think is
black metal like cradle of filth which is really extreme gothic metal
