Broken Picture Problem (resolved)

One of my submissions, titled "Scary Chaos" is broken, though the link that I used to submit the picture is perfectly valid. When I tried to ameliorate this problem by editing and reposting the link, it finally showed the picture. However, after a while it would revert back to a broken picture. The link I use is from the same source as all of my other fanart here, and they are perfectly fine.

The deviantART.com domains do not allow you to link pictures for use on another site.

(Neither does FAC).

Solution: Delete and resubmit, uploading the image file straight from your computer.

That's generally because your browser caches the image in memory so it doesn't have to go out and find it again.

Either way, as much as we appreciate you trying to conserve FAC space by linking from off-site, uploading pictures directly from your computer is still recommended, as it protects against broken links.

Additional information:
* Actually, nearly all of your gallery pics were uploaded from your computer, not linked from off-site.
* FAC thumbnails are also cached, so they may appear even if the off-site image itself becomes broken.
* Same for the auto-resize feature for large pics.

Oops! Thanks a lot Strata, I'll fix that right away! And I thank you so much for helping me out (though I could have sworn most of the links were from DA... I confuse myself)
