Gonna Buy A G5, Are You?

For a long time now, I've been wanting to get a Power MAC G5, But before commiting myself to buying this, I decided to look at older models. Intrestingly enough, I found that I could get a iBook and a eMAC For less than I would pay for a G5.

The G5 isnt very different from the G4, from what I've seen. You could buy a G4 WITH a shitload of ram and still have money left over (Talking about if you're working on a budget of 1,500 - 3,000), so basically you'd be better off buying a G4 and adding onto it, rather than buying the 'latest greatest thing'. Also, the G5 really has nothing on it that makes the G4 seem useless..nothin' new. Just the endless cycle of releasing something new and stylish to get you to buy it.

Cursed are we MAC users to continue purchasing things we regret within six months.
