Posting Fanfics

I wanna post an FF i wrote, but it asks for file # & stuff. do i have to save my story onto a file first, & if so, how do i do it??? Banghead

It asks you for the file NAME. The filename would be like....

C:\Documents and Settings\user\My Documents\fanfictitle.txt

Basically, you have to save your fic to your computer in a format compatible with FAC, and then upload it onto the site. So yes, you have to save it.

But really, if you haven't saved it, it probably isn't very long and probably didn't have much effort put into it because you did it in one sitting so maybe you just shouldn't submit anyway. =D

He's asking about the 'select file' box on the uploads page. Standard file-select box, so hit the Browse button. Then, whatever directory and file name you saved your story/chapter under, look it up using the dialog box and click it, then proceed with the uploading.
