ok the only things i can find wrong so far is that you either don't have it in web text or anything. FAC wil only take it a certain way or else it will not show up on the screen.

try going to the save as part of your stories and check the bottom part of the little window that comes up. you should be able to change its format to html. that will most definetly work.

if it still doesn't work then i really don't know what else to tell you dude. sorry. maybe you could email denis about it. *shrugs*

Looks like you answered the wrong question to me. But it is true, a lot of people don't know that they should save/convert their chapters to HTML ("web page") format before uploading, and it tends to cause problems.

How do you put them in HtML anyway?

On your "Save As" dialog box, examine the options in the "Save as type" dropdown list.

You can write your own HTML files in WordPad if you save it as "plain text".

Similarly, you can also upload plain-text files with manual HTML formatting.

A quick HTML guide for writing stories is as follows:

1 - Save your file as plain-text (but give it a .html extension).
2 - Put at the beginning of your file, and at the end of it. You are now ready to begin writing HTML.
3 - Put

at the start of each paragraph you write, and put

at the end of each paragraph. This will format your document properly (with a blank line between paragraphs).
4 - Bold, italics, and underline are easy. Start a bolded word or phrase with , and end it with
. (Italics, you just use and , and underline, use and ).
5 - You can insert a horizontal dividing line anywhere by simply typing
(or
, which is technically more correct), preferably between your paragraphs.

That's about all you should need. (If you want to use simple plain-text with HTML formatting, just keep the filename with a ".txt" extension, and skip steps 2 and 3)
