Yes broken picture are a pain, I noticed a lot of that too when the move was made but recently it been clearing up...at least for me. Does it still do that?

Sometime new pics will appear broken because the process the syncs the pictures between the picture servers doesn't always work. Those will fix themselves in a day or so when I do a manual sync.
if all pics are broken (except resized pics) then the picture server you are reading off of is having a problem, try again later.
