I've noticed the Media guide on FAC is a little messed up

Catigory Anime/Manga
Samarai champloo (52)
Samari champloo (12)

Arn't these the same things....

there are also some other doubles but I don't know what they are, right now.

These happen. Mostly because I used to allow members to make their own categories. But still some new ones appear, probebly mainly due to multiple people working on category managment.

The funny thing is, they are both spelled wrong in different ways. And, their is a third one with the correct spelling.

Or, sometimes people forget to check if the category already exists before approving it.

We consolidate duplicate categories whenever we find them (or are told about them).

I see that a lot, I think it happens when something gets dubbed, so there are multiple catagorys for the same show with diffrent names. I think a good example would be Tokyo MewMew/Mew-Mew Power.

Future versions of FAC will support category aliasing, e.g., "Pokemon" and "Pokmon" may both be listed (another example: Games>Sonic and Anime>Sonic), but they'll point to the same, [i]single[/i], category. It will help alleviate confusion as to whether a particular fanart should go under Anime, Movies, Games, or etc.
