I like football too, just that I live in Costa Rica, and my team is Saprissa, the one who lost against Liverpool 3-0? remember? Costarican football isn't that good to beat great teams like the Premier league ones but they are good for playing in America... (I mean the whole continent not just U.S.)

Liverpool (or a lot of other european teams) is way too good for any central-american team, really the level is way to high. I thought it was nice anyway that Liverpool wanted to hire one of our players, but at the end they didn't..... wich is sad

i think thats because most americans want to play baseball or basketball but most, nearly all, englishmans want to play football so i guess there isnt as must skilled americans because of that.

By Americans I hope you mean north-americans (I don't like the fact that US calls themselves americans, they are north americans there is a really big part of america outside from US), because what about the great south american players? Pele, Maradona, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos, just to name a few.... they play(ed) good football in good teams! And Costarican football is good but not as good as south-american, yet we have good players who have played in great teams. We just need to improve a little bit more...

When i think about it, south-american teams are generally better than eurpean. They have won the 'Faceoff' between the winners of european cups and the south american vsersion of it more times than europe. *Wipes head* wow that was a long sentence. :wacko:
