Description On Pics

why, in the description of any pic, does it put two to three spaces in the middle of a word or sentence? the site would be better if it didnt do that. like for example one of my resent pics was to advertise a contest on the forums and i put the link in the description but it put three spaces in the middle of the link so now only half of the website is underlined with the hyperlink.

It was originally intended to prevent horizontal scrollbars due to "KAWWWAAAAIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!" type abuse.

But as far as I know, it never really worked as it was intended.
