Why Wont You Load?

Help me plz. Every time i try to load a pic on FC the file is always to big. I've followed the guidelines for submitting the pics but it just doesn't let me load it. Someone help me plz.

Maybe your internet has a very slow upload speed? Especially if you have a modem it could be slow.

It has to be under 300 kb, if you did read the instructions you should have read that it has to be jpg, gif, or png and not wider than 600 pixels. I have a hard time believing a jpg smaller than 600 pixels wide is over 300 kb, usually it's more like 50 or 100.

I hope you are not trying to upload [b]bitmaps[/b], those are absolutely the only image format I can think of that would have a reason to be over 300kb.

Example: 600x400 bitmap (true color) = 700kb.

Always save a JPEG version of your images before uploading them. JPEG's should, on average, weigh in at under 100kb.
