You read the subtitle. You should get it.

Alrighty:

Jimmy Stewart--I don't know why, but I love the way this guy was soft-spoken. He protrayed the "aw-shucks" demeanor very well and overall, I found his acting to be...not bad. Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (I swear, I'm an old lady stuck in a kid's body) was survivable. I found myself enjoying it...even if it was slightly sexist and racist. Stewart was great at being the humble guy who you find yourself rooting for in old flicks. He didn't have class--he was a klutz and naive, but I guess that's what I liked about him.

Felicity Huffman--Her taking on a role as a transsexual was just amazing. She did a great job and I found myself laughing because she did so incredibly well with it. She sounded like--and acted like--a guy. I was impressed, because she added depth to a character that I thought by anyone would've been blown--Yet she kept it strong and added even more to it.

Favorite actor of all time is actually somewhat difficult for me to choose. I love so many actors from so many different types of genres of films.

I'd say Johnny Depp is one of my favorite actors. First of all, he's so versatile. He goes from roll to roll and generally plays the parts so well. I've liked pretty much every movie he's done, give or take a few. (I don't even want to think about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, I actually hated him in that and that's almost blasphemy to me). His characters are usually easy to love and I think that's based a lot on the performance he gives. He was also in Nightmare on Elm Street which is my favorite horror movie series, so yea. <3

I don't really have a favorite actress. If I had to choose, it might be Kate Winslet simply for her character in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I had only happened upon the movie on accident one night while channel surfing and after I stayed on it for a few minutes I was glued to it. Shortly thereafter I ended up purchasing the DVD and it's now one of my favorite movies.

If not Kate Winslet, then I'd say Christina Ricci. She's been in so many movies that I grew up watching that she's pretty much embedded in my memory. I always secretly wanted to be her growing up, so she's probably my actual favorite actress. ^^

I have too many. And considering I'm usually *cough*obsessed*cough* with one in particular at any given time, it's not overly accurate.

But.

I'll narrow it down.

Overall:

Tim Curry. Dr. Frank 4 teh win. He's amazing and the best nice villain ever. He's evil, but always so charming and kinda sleazy. And that voice. So good at putting everything into how he says the lines and when it comes to roles like Frank, body language and facial expressions. Love him.

Of the moment:

I shouldn't have to say it. Robert Knepper makes me giddy. Besides Theodore, he really is a phenomenal actor in everything else. Not that anyone saw Wild Thing. It's all about the facial expressions. So good at subtle little changes that communicate everything. From a street rat fighting crime to a hot doctor in tight pants on Star Trek to a mad scientist to a control freak plastic surgeon who kills his wife to a pedophile-racist-rapist-murderer-necrophiliac. Wild Thing and Star Trek are the only good guy roles I've ever seen him in.

Actresses: Don't have one. I just...don't care. Not much for the women.

Ah, Tim Curry. I concur. Best villain ever. I'd definitely put him very high on my list as well. Frank, Lord of Darkness, ah... so many great villains from him. XD

Jim Carry-one of the very little slpstic comedy actors, he's awsome.

Kate Winslet (you don't like it, just geed out!)-Anyways, nto just because she was in titanic and had nice boobies <3 but she was in other movies that got good ratings, also she is a good actress and purty.

Robert Knepper-don't have much disimilar reasons than fallen.

Sean Ashton (I need spelling lessons!)-of course, playedsam wise in lotr, but he also was in other movies I thought were kick-ass. The goonies, Toy Soldiers, Rudi, etc.

Eddie Murphy-only because of 48hrs and another 48hrs.

can't remember anymore of my favorites, I'll get back to ya.

Bruce Campell - The guy's had a bucketload of bit-parts and B-movie roles, but he's always known as "the guy from Evil Dead." Does a great job in those movies, and gives the main character so many qualities. ^_^ Plus he was great as Elvis in Bubba Ho-Tep. Watching the stuff he does outside his films his pretty cool as well, footage of him answering fanmail and stuff like that.

There's noone else who really springs to mind right now. . . . .

Marilyn Monroe, because she had an incredible charisma and just lit up on screens, And if you think all she did was play a dumb blonde, you should watch movies like Don't Bother To Knock (in which she plays a psycho babysitter) or Niagra (in which she plays a two-timing murderer).

As for my favorite actor, I'm going to say Johnny Depp. Not because I'm an obsessive fangirl, but because he can play absolutely any role. When you see him on the screen, you don't see Johnny Depp; you see the character he's portraying.

Agree. Granted, some of them give amazing performances, but, I dunno...they're forgettable. Strange isn't it?

Another favorite actor of mine is Tom Hanks. I loved the movie Forrest Gump, and (duh) he was the main reason why. Any one can act like a retard, but it takes some skill to make the character not only seem plausible. If not that, he was amazing in the Road to Perdition, and really came across as a father figure. He's been in so many movies, it's hard to count, but they usually manage to impress me.

Usually.

You Got Mail was crap.

Aw, I love Marilyn Monroe especially in her dumb blonde roles. Some like it Hot <3 Albeit, her other roles are great. She really did play the dumb blonde well. Smile She was in far too few movies. I would've loved to have seen her in oodles more.

I think that, while Marilyn Monroe definetely revolutionized how Hollywood acted, I didn't like how she had stooped to the dumb blonde level. As it's been shown, she was incredibly smart, and yet she lowered herself to that idiotic blonde status for jobs. Which is sad. She would've been completely kick-ass as a fiesty blonde beauty than a dumb one.

It's quite sad, really... Then again, she wasn't the only person to do it. Most sex symbols- heck, most women in the fifties- had to hide their intelligence. Mariltn had soem psychological problems though. All she ever wanted was to make people happy. Sad

I've suddenly realized that one of my favorite actors is Kevin Spacey. I've seen a lot of his movies before and always liked what he's done but only a few days ago did I realize just how much I adore his acting. It might just be the characters he chooses to play, but I love them all to bits. So, Kevin Spacey is currently my favorite actor of the moment. He's absolutely brilliant. <3
