I hear ya. (BTW, you misspelled FF.net Wink)

I've myself yet to receive much decent feedback to the stuff I write. I write pretty good reviews though. Too bad I know absolutely nothing about Yu Yu Hakusho, so I don't know how well I can be of help.

well, that's what people normally say on FF.net! "goodjob, please continue, can't wait til next chapter." Nothing that helps, and really I shouldn't complain because I tend to do the same thing. Though there are a few reviewers who encourage me to continue, but that doesn't always mean I'm able to write the next chapter five seconds after I read the review.

Writers get writer's block sometimes, and some of them get it a lot. It happens, and you have to learn what to do, I myself am still struggling with an old case of it I got a few weeks ago. But when this accures, try taking a brake from the fiction your working on and write something else. If those don't work, just start with a blank page and write what comes to mind. Original works sometimes helps me.

Also, just stop writing all in all for a little while. Your brain is probably fried for some reason, whether it be your tired, or some stress related thing in your life. Try reading others fictions that are of the same type of yours, and fanfics on the same subject as yours. Or read other ones that have nothing to do with was you're writing. It helps me. Maybe it will work for you.

Don't push ideas. If it doesn't sound right or if it doesn't work, then don't do it. It took me about an hour and a half to get one good paragraph for a fanfic once. I was so frustraited, I kept writing and writing. I started about half a dozen plus new pages with different things before I finally got something good, and now I have no insperation for the rest of the fic.

Anyway, I'm too long winded. Writer's block happens, and you have to find ways to work around it. Its really annoying though when you can't think of anything to draw or write... anyway, hope I helped, though I don't see how my rantings could have.

Glad your writing again! Good to hear that!

Ah, those reviews. They do get annoying, don't they? And then there are those weird ones where the person sounds like he/she's a little off the rocker.

Well, happy writing!

I know. That's just about all I get myself on my FF.net stories. On the other hand, when I give a review, I start with a good critiquing and I finish with the "good job, looking forward to the next chapter". Unless of course it was a really bad fic in which case I'll say something like "you really need to work on this" at the end instead.

sometimes I'll give a good critique if its poorly written or something. I'm not good enough at writing to critique the fanfics I think were written well, and I can't spell so...

I wonder, have you critiqued one of my stories before? *ponders* maybe not. probably not.

Well, mouse-chan, I see you don't have any on your FAC profile.... and I suppose I should warn you, I don't do anime.

Well, I was just wondering if you'd reviewed one of my fics. Most of them are anime, but some are games. I have troubles with originals, at least getting it to where I like it enough to post it somewhere.
(akutatsu_no_kuno_hi)you know this is just a proven fact that people only review other people's stories if it contains their favorite theme and/or pairing...
This is too true. People add you to their favorites just because they like a couple in it or the type of fiction it is. Its not really much of a complement then.

However, I get some good reviews occasionally, like:
Ah, this is an excellent fic. I am difficult to amuse when I am looking stories that are not JCA related. Congratulations! This one kept me glued to the screen and I really encourage you to continue.
What happened to Mia? And what WILL happen to her? I know that my favourite couple won't be in this, but maybe you could make it Alex/Mia? Jenna will probably be paired with Garet, right? Aww, there goes my Alex/Jenna... Sniff, my poor favourite couple... ... or will Mia end up with Isaac? If that is the case, how about Alex/Mia friendship or --
Okay, I am rumbling again. Don't pay attention to me or my desires, I am just here to read and inspire you to post another chapter! This goes to my favourites, by the way.

They don't give me critiquing, but they do say they like the fiction, not because of a pairing, but because they find the plot interesting. Which is a good thing when its your plot that interests them.

anyway, I've talked too long...

....Yeah I need to start doing that with the fics I review...I'm just...an idiot... . . . .

Anyway, I'm glad your writer's block cracked! It happens to me all the time. ^_^
