Good Writing Thread

Like the General Art, I thought I'd be a good idea to post writing works (not your own) that you found amazing. Rules aren't really that severe:

1: It can't be your own.

2: Click on one of the links posted by someone above you and actually read the work. Comment on it. Then on this thread say which one (of the links you clicked on) you found interesting.

3: Have fun.

4: The writing must be somewhat grammatically correct.

5: Limit the links to two stories...or else, like I just did, it gets out of hand.

Alright. I'll start:

Balke

Why Does the Universe Spin?

I love Balke because it, for some reason, strikes me as this classy murder tale from the '30's. The girl who wrote this captured a story from word of mouth beautifully, and the twist at the end just wraps it all together.

Do the written works have to be from FAC? And do they have to be original, meaning, can we post fanfictions that we've enjoyed?

I read: Why does the universe spin

I liked it. I can imagine this bar quite well, although there isn't a great deal of description about it. And theres that little twist at the end, that always makes reading something like that worthwhile.

The Names Chik

This story just struck me as incredibly funny. In my eyes, the writer has a good way of keeping the humour within his words, without breaking into sarcastic remarks.

Anyway, here's a story I really like, The Legacy of Lupin, It's a fanfic. Specifically an X-mne Evo and harry Potter cross over. It's addicting.
