It's obvious this person just edited out the original sig an inserted their own initials in it.

So, who [i]is[/i] the original artist of this pic anyway?

They can't win editing the picture so they are editing sigs now? ...damn, low go.

I'll try some search but it's going to be hard with just the word "dragon", I wish I could see the name of it.

A little off-subject, but still relevent... You know what would be awesome? Anr art-thief hunting club on dA or something. Post an image (not a link to the user, of course), and a bunch of people can pitch in to search for the original, or maybe already know of the original.

It might be worth a shot. :0

Anyway, tried a search. But dragon is such a vague keyword, even with the date of 2003 attached. Dx

I tried looking up wyvern as well, and that even has a vast amount of results. It really is so blatantly obvious though. They could've at least done a better job of editing in their initials. I mean honestly. . . . .

Cool

That's one of the best ideas I've heard yet, the kick is that people telling us that we have stolen art in our gallery is GOOD.

Start archiving suspected pictures and delete them as people find sources for them, and we can have something like "honored members" for people who locate many pictures, and Deviants might actually watch us to see if they can identify pictures as they come.

If we do make a club and it succeeds, we can affiliate with other galleries too.

People who wants to make this club, PM, er... me, so we can go to MSN or YIM to discuss, Especially Joou and Lindsay
