Is a Photomorph considered art?
Even just a Photo can be considered art if it has sertain properties.
But backe to Photomorphs.
Is it really art or isn't it?
Here's an exampel
I shortened this car made it a hatchback and lowered the Sideskirts.

The more common term is photo-manipulation -- photomanip (or simply "manip") for short.
It is a kind of art. But exactly what kind and how appreciated it is compared to other, more traditional media, that depends on who you ask. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

Would people go to museum to look at it? If not, it isn't art. _________________ |

Art is subjective, and certainly not defined by whether it'd fit in at the Louvre.
Photomanipulation is considered a form of art, though due to copyright infringement and intellectual property issues, a lot of art sites don't accept photomanips without a rigorous source list.
They're not allowed on FAC, that much I'm pretty sure of |

I don't think they're "art" (In the sense of art=A Painting of trees or something. LOL SUBJECTIVITY). I put Photomanips in the Same category as Vector traces of things. Nice to look at, but I wouldn't call either art as easily as I would a Picture by Imperial Boy. :V _________________ |

I don't think it would. It's more of a way to take someone elses work spiff it up a bit and sell it as you own. It looks more like a means to copy another piece of work in a shorter time making copy righting easier for the guilty. _________________
