Wasn't that sort of his way of thanking her for saving his life? That was why he originally took her in... and the second time was because by then he'd become attached enough to her that he didn't want to see her get carted off and possibly executed for having been involved with him.

Those always make sense to me...the first time, however, that V saves Evey from being raped never really made sense to me. The man, afterall, is obsessed with revenge (at that point), and to save some random woman from fingermen never made sense...

Unless, or course, you take into view the fact that fingermen were liable to try to catch V as well. So maybe the first time was just a coincidence. ;)

That was Hugo Weaving. Man so totally deserves props for that. It's funny. He plays baddie Agent Smith in the Matrix and then suddenly reverts to the twisted good guy in "Vendetta". Great actor all around.

I just bought the soundtrack yesterday. So far "Cry Me a River" is one of the best songs on their. :)


SUUUUCH a good movie.
