Thw White Stripes

Okay, so I have always been pretty indifferent to The White Stripes, especially since i have heard "Seven Nation Army" from far too many amateur musicians. However, I heard their song "You're Pretty Good Looking (For a Girl)" a couple of weeks and fell in love with it. My question is, what White Stripes songs/albums should I check out if I want to hear more of the same sound?

Well, [i]You're Pretty Good Looking [/i]is off of their album De Stijl. This is actually one of my favorite albums and includes other songs of a similar nature such as [i]Hello Operator[/i], [i]Little Bird[/i], and [i]Jumble Jumble[/i]. Other songs of note from that album include [i]I'm Bound To Pack It Up [/i]and [i]Death Letter.[/i]

Aside from [i]Seven Nation Army[/i], what other songs have you heard?

Which of their songs was on the movie Wicker Park? I liked that song but I've never found out what the title of it was. It's on the part where Josh Hartnett runs back upstairs to the girls apartment and starts making out with her.

this is there name. not only that but the leader of the white stripes is in this band. there cd won't come out yet but there hit song on XM radio

is "steady as she goes"

its such a great song. you need to check them out. well they have something big to deal with the white stripes anyways

I've heard a couple of their songs, the hardest button to button, we are going to be friends, seven nation army, fell in love with a girl, just to name a few. and I quite like them, Joss Stone took their song and remade it into a weird soul cover...

The White Stripes just happens to be my fathers favorite band. He has all their albums and plays them constantly. That said I can't help but subscribe to the temple of the White Stripes.

As far as best albums: White Blood Cells and their self titled album.

Personally their earlier stuff is better to me, but if you want the more experimental stuff I'd say go with their latest album, Get Behind Me Satan.
