Database:Error?

[b]I cant get past this. I fill out all the info on my pics and click submit. It then takes me to a page that is blank with a message in the upper left-hand corner saying "Database:Error". I've tried to get past this for hours. Anyone got any suggestions?[/b]

You should never get that. If there is an error it should give more info than that.

Anyway, try again there was a disk space problem earlier that may have caused some submission problems.

I've seen that particular error once or twice myself, and it [b]doesn't[/b] give any more info than that; wish I had a screenshot....

Its been a day now. I said it accepted the drawing I submitted, but I still havent seen it. Does it usually take a day to post?

This happens to me every time i try to upload a picture. It's been almost a week now. I talked with my friend and she seems to have no problem uploading. Is it just for a few people?

Please walk through how the exact steps you take that results in the error. Including the data you enter in the add picture page.

This information helps track down the error.

i got past this a while ago, but then again i havent tried to upload pictures lately. I think it may be related to the picture file being too big. I used a program called Irfan view to precrop the picture and it seemed to help.

[b]Here are the steps taken when the problem occurs:[/b]

First you click the option "Upload images from computer" which takes you to the screen where you add the information of the pic and insert the file name into the upload box. After everything is complete you click submit. It takes a some time then it will go to a page that is all white. In the top left hand corner there is a message that reads in bold "Database Error:". I cant get past it. You can try to refresh the page, but then a pop up box comes up saying that the information needs to be resent in order to refresh. You can click it, but it will only go back to the same database error page.

Yup, me too. I made sure the form was filled out correctly, and re-tried with different file formats.

This has been happening to me for a few days now, no matter what I do (change file format, submit from an URL, upload, upload and crop)---and yet I see other people uploading quite freely. It's starting to give me a complex! Wink

I really like this site, and would hate to have to abandon it because of some irritating bug.
