Notifications

I need help. I have all the checks in the notifications things when I edited my profile. And today I didn't get an e-mail that told me if I got a comment in my picture, or my favorite artist posted a new picture. So can someone help me?

Well, the most obvious explanation would be that your favorite artists [i]haven't[/i] submitted any new pictures to FAC, and your pictures [i]haven't[/i] received any new comments since the last time you checked your e-mail. Are you certain this is NOT the case?

Actually, that happened to me just today/the last 24 hours too.
I checked a picture I submitted yesterday, and someone had replied, but I never got notified.

And, I just checked 3 of my favourite artists, and they've uploaded stuff, but again, no notification.

Same here. I got at least one comment yesterday, and one of my favorite artists submitted a picture, and I got no emails. Other people have also been having this problem, from what I've gathered.

You're not alone. Me and a friend of mine were having a conversation and no notifications of the comments were put up.

And I checked the boxes, so I know that I was supposed to receieve the notifications.

Hmm. I don't know if this is related, but I just now tried to leave a comment on one of my own pics, and when I clicked "submit", it didn't add the comment.

Same here, I think some thing is wrong with Fac's email system.

the " your pic has recieved a comment" email hasnt been sent to me either. i too had a converation with a friend and kept my inbox open at the bottom and got no mails..... its getting sort of annoying, the only thing i listen to is my inbox Sad

does anyone know of anything that con be done about this?

bug fixed. Many thousands of backlogged emails being sent.

I believe that is a caching issue. I left a comment on a picture earlier today; it didn't show up at the time, but it does now.

However, comment bbCode formatting is currently offline....

Comments bbCode is showing up exactly as I typed it, instead of being converted to actual formatting.

E.g., I see [b]bold comment[/b] instead of bold comment.

(This also happens to profile comments and category description info.)
