True, we don't have a rule on this yet, but if we did, it probably wouldn't stray far from FF.net's standards.

I can understand why Fanfiction.net doesn't permit "you"fics (2nd-person narratives or choose-your-own-adventures). For one, it doesn't give you (as a writer) experience in creating and developing characters, which is a major draw for much fiction.

And for another, "you"-based pairing fics are rarely used for anything more than one artist fantasizing about their, um, "adventures" with a certain favorite character. Which is definitely not brain safe.
