Check here before reporting problems

Also a good idea to check the changelog here: http://forums.fanart-central.net/viewtopic.php?t=24590

1.I cannot go beyond page 1. for some reason, when i click to move on to any page after page 1, it says i have, but i see the same pics/fanfics as on the first page. its really annoying.

2.when i set it to display the highest rating first, it doesn't.

We already know about the category page issue (did you not read the links?).

"Rating" sort is currently down since we dropped the MPAA-style rating system. We're planning on replacing it with something else.

Rating sort is based on quality ratings of the pictures not censor ratings.

But the quality ratings aren't implimented yet.

This is probably a caching issue, but....

This category: www.fanart-central.net/cat-1631.php

I did some cleanup on it the other day. It reports 56 pictures, but I see only two pages' worth (46). If I try to click the link for page 3, it returns a blank listing with "error | no pictures here", but the links to pages 1 and 2 don't show up.

Another quick suggestion: Can you add "Today" and "Yesterday" links to www.fanart-central.net/recent_pictures.php ? Browsing by date is fine, but in the old layout I was always looking at the "Yesterday" listing.

When I try to edit one of my pictures I get this:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_IF in /usr/home/.sites/33/site5/web/add_picture.php on line 149
Here denis, the thumbnail is broken in my profile, though not the gallery:
http://www.fanart-central.net/profile-Trinity_Fire.php

And the pic itself is
http://www.fanart-central.net/pic-431166.html

Which is just fine. But you say you're working on the caching? Thanks. Very Happy

There's a link for reporting broken thumbnails available when you view the picture.

BTW, denis, PHP error:
Warning: pg_query() [function.pg-query]: Query failed: ERROR: relation "story_pictures" does not exist in /usr/home/.sites/33/site5/web/story_favorite_del.php on line 15

Database Error: ERROR: relation "story_pictures" does not exist

Denis, I'm pretty sure the 'alert when you are added to a user's favorite artist list' doesn't work...
Might want to check up on this.

Also, are those google ads supposed to be in the bottom right corner in galleries?? It probably is, but it annoys me... are you sure there wasn't somewhere else/better to put the ad? Now each page will only have 24 pics, right? :/

Unless I find major interest in paid accounts the google ads on thumbs pages stay, they are all what is keeping the site financially alive at the moment.

There are no known problems with email notifications. I got one just a few days ago when one of my faves submitted something.

Well, no, the 'favs has added a new pic' option and story option all work, but some of the others aren't.

When one of your pics/stories are faved, when someone has added to you to their favs list, I'm pretty sure that none of those work, unless people don't do what they say they do, and the count is off. -__-;
As a lot of lists are now made by most recent, I can tell when someone adds me to their favs list, but I haven't gotten any emails for it.

And about the broken thumbnails from earlier, denis. I think I found another example:
http://www.fanart-central.net/pic-441448.html
The pic thumbnail is fine in the gallery, but in the profile, this one has a completely broken thumbnail error. :/ Pic itself is, once again, just fine.

Working on this?

As well, do you still remember the suggestion to limit the emails from favs, for only selected favs? Could you still possibly set that up sometime?
I've really gathered the best of favs that I believe to be so, plus some friends, and I just really don't want to delete most all of them.
Many are really good artists; I just don't check up on their new artwork, though I do want to recognize them as good artists, and I browse through their galleries on my own every now and then.
A selective alert would be better, really.
It'll take time to set up I know, but sometime, when you have time, could you?
Thanks.

Cstdenis, it might just be lagging, but a lot of the deleting options seem to be slow.
I've been trying to delete comments on my profile/pics/places, but when I refresh the page, the counts are still there. I think they might go away in a while [like it was happening with the picture deletion] but just to let you know, it's lagging at least [I haven't checked too thoroughly on this matter]

And as well, you know how the comments for a pic/profile are set to the most recent 10? I'm pretty sure it doesn't work on some pic pages... I have places with 11 or 15 comments, and all 15 comments show up.
Just letting you know. :/

Probebly not soon.

Comic, link, and PM support are the next ones likely to appear (comic and PM because they are half done, link because its important)

Denis, did you look into the deleting thing? I think some of the comments have been deleted, and it's just a slow reaction...

Another possible slow-server issue:
I recently submitted a new pic, and it shows up in the recent pics, and I can click on it and all... but in my gallery, the new pic hasn't been registered yet... I'm hoping this will fix itself over time [quickly too I hope] and the pic will show up but... is this all part of the same error? And are you going to do anything about it?
Thanks.

Edit: Oh, sorry, that's a cacheing issue, huh?
Well, the pic showed up eventually, so it's okay. A quick question though... for the fanfic section... I uploaded a new chapter to my story, but after refreshing a coupla times on the home page, it doesn't show in the recent stories. Nor does it show up when I actually search through the recent fanfics...
Another cacheing issue, perhaps?

Well, hope you can fix it sometime. It's just some lag I suppose, nothing big. :/
Thanks.

Oi. Sorry for the double post, but it's been a few days, and it's another issue...

I'm not sure if it's cacheing now, but after updating the story... when I look at the story stats, it doesn't register the new chapter at all, though when I go through the list, the new chapter is there.
As well, there's a blank next to date submitted and date edited, though the chapter is all there, and it lists the size kb and the number of words.

So... I'm guessing this affects why it doesn't show up on the recent fics page??
And denis, can you still consider the option of putting a 'next chapter' button on each chapter, so we can go straight to the next in a story without having to backtrack to the menu page of the fic and click on the next link?

Just wondering. :/

Most caching expires in an hour.
