Ok, first off, .hack//AI Buster isn't a manga, it's a novel, so I'm not sure if it would go here, of in the Books section, but for now, I'll put it here. I recently got the english novel and compared it to the Japanese one. I have to say, they did a good job translating. I wouldn't have to patience to translate the whole book. Besides a few missing things, the main storyline is the same. It's a prequal to .hack//sign, before any of the anime or games. I'm pretty much recommending it, and to those of you who have already read it, what did you think? There's also a 2nd volume to AI Buster (not out yet) and .hack//Zero (another novel, only in Japanese...for now)

Should probably have gone in the book section, I think. It might get moved. :/

I lurved //AI buster so much x.x I hope they get around to releasing the other books in Canada soon~! I'm glad that I read AI buster, cuz parts of //Legend of the Twilight and //Sign didn't really make sense to until I read it.

I love how unconventional the book was... most of what i read these days is repetitive, like i've read it before, even when I haven't. It's irritating how no one has any original ideas anymore. But I don't think many people write books about people playing computer games. Plus, it wasn't a definate bd guy vs. good guy type book, which is irritating because nothing in life is ever that straightforward.

I've read the first two volumes and have thoroughly enjoyed both. The writer is quite good. Many of my .hack questions were answered in reading them. I've also heard that another similar novel is coming out from Blackrose's point of view.
