Pink Floyd founding member Syd Barrett has died at the age of 60. While mentally unstable due to heavy drug use, he was remembered in Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" and offered the musical insight for "Piper at the Gates of Dawn".

It was sad news to hear that Syd Barrett had passed on, but when Roger Waters goes I'll be positively crushed.
