Alright, so the other day my friends got together with my sis and I, and we watched the movie Mirrormask.
It's a very fantasy-like movie, with strange creatures, etc.

I'm wondering - who here has seen the movie, and can try to explain to me how exactly Helena changed dimensions. This was a very hard thing to understand.

I think it was neat how there were counterparts of people in both worlds.

The movie had a lot of artistic design and intriguing dreamscape-like worlds, designed by Jim Henson (who has a very good imagination, if I might add).

I'd probably rate this movie 7/10 if needed, losing a few points for it being hard to follow at some points...

I really want to see that movie. My boyfriend has it. We're going to watch it together this weekend. then I'll tell you what I thought of it. So is it really magical-like? I think Menag (thewriter) has seen it. I think She liked it.

You are indeed correct, Red. I have seen "MirrorMask" and I absolutely loved it. And yes, it is very, very, very magical.

...Granted, though, it's very "different" as well. It took me a few minutes to really adjust to everything, but once I did, I feel in love with it. It was so totally bizarre and weirdly animated that I was just facsinated. Pretty colors...

Kitzy, I used to know how Helena changed dimensions, but I have forgotten as of late. If I watch again and find out, I will be sure to tell you.

I understood the movie fine, actually. D:

...But boy, those sphinxes kicked major ass. They definetely reminded me of my cat at three in the morning. I loved all the characters and the masks...It was all definetely cool.

I finally saw it. Oh my God. It was Fucking amazing. I have never seen anything like it. It was magical and pretty and there were book eating cats. I'm gonna go buy me a copy. I loved it. Words can't describe how much I liked it.
