changing e-mail?

i want to change my email in "profile" and such but whenever i try it says the password i entered was incorrect. but it didn't ask me for a password! i'm so confused! can anyone help? is there anyways for me to change it?

Did you try putting in your password, and then your email, then try changing it?
I think it's 'cuz you need verification before you go around changing the email.
