Best: Ed, Edd, and Eddy ( I grew up with it <3) I like the characters, and the fact that you can relate to some of them. They're not your typical all smart loveable characters.
- Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy: It's creative! I mean, how many other shows can put the Grim Reaper in it and make it work?
- Fairly Odd Parents: I don't know why I like it, it's just a show I really love.
- Boondocks: Again, same as above.

Bad:
Winx Club - Siriusly (AND YES I SPELL IT LIKE THAT XD), what's so amazing about this show?
- Inuyasha - Ohhh lord, where do I begin? The countless Sesshomaru and Inuyasha fangirls who think they are all Inuyasha's wife. The style of the anime, and plot behind it. Horrid. I mean, what kind of show do you make where you are searching for thousands of tiny pieces of glass to put together. Siriusly - End it already! Put us out of our misery!
- Camp Lazlo: One word - FAIL.
-Sonic:... Bleh. The fangirls, the 'Original characters' (Mine's a rabbit and a different shade of blue with magical powers! <_<) The crappiness of the characters - really, maybe it's just me?
- Scooby Doo - Dude, there is no need to try and re-make a forever dead cartoon. GIVE UP. We've moved on to bigger and better things than having some whore getting kidnapped 24/7 and being rescued by Mr. Macho man. (Daph and Fred) and talking dogs just don't appeal to me. Again, it's probably because I grew up watching EVERY OLD EPISODE. It's too much. I like the older ones better.
Pokemon:.. It just got old.
Trollz, Carebears, My little pony: Basically all the same things except trollz is with ugly little doll like things, carebears is with bears, and My little pony is with ponies....Ugh.

..Others I can't remember because I'm way too picky with cartoons.

the worst cartoons? After DiC's hayday they went on to shoot themselves in the foot with countless spinoff shows featuring memorable characters, ie archie, sonic, ect. They use the 'panning bg's' liberally, and work from scripts that are nothing but recycled and revised ideals of moral values.

Best? In terms of quality, anything relating to the old looney toons/disney stuff. it was silly, nonsensical, and it was suppossed to be but they did it right, and made it look good, and taught lessons while doing it, which is exactly what they where supposed to do.

As for the breed of animation that seeks to tell a real story and follows in sequence, employing a plot, character development , and doesn't consist of vingette after vingette of the 'slice of life' antics of a handful of static characters, I'd have to say that there really aren't alot of them to be found. What does come to mind is Avatar: the last airbender.

It does averything an anime does to tell a story without the nonsense. Not a flashback of an earlier episode in sight, no background changes corresponding to emotion, nocalling out attack names, no time consuming recap, no omnicient characters, no explanations of abilities, and if there are, they are not so cut and dry.
No splitscreen sequential gasping, no writhing faces, no transformation sequences, no recycled animation cells, no concentration of unrealistically attractive people in any given place, and finally

No Filler arcs.

even the 'slightly off topic' episodes serve to provide important developments to the characters, ie kyoshi island episode.

It may be regarded as an 'anime ripoff' by many, but the above reasons more than justify the idea that it is on a higher plane of animation quality than a lot of anime.

that show is orininal . mandy is my all time fave.
plus invader zim thats like second in my ratings. but thats just my oppinion seeing that i like weird stuff.

my worst is jimmy neutron. full of slapstick rubbish.

and robot boy also a classic example of sheer and utter rubbish to the max. Razz
