I love it. You love it. The creepy guy in your basement loves it.

Me and my friend brought towels and a cooler with water bottles and played it all day at the Playdium (Canada's biggest arcade), today. We tried all day to beat Heavy. We always failed on the Final Stage, tho. It was fun as hell trying. We got a crazy audience. And than the Japanese kids came. Holy hell those kids are nuts. They could like do handstands and ace Heavy mode.

I'm getting it on my Gamecube for my back to school present.

Do you play DDR? Have any fun experiences? Do tel! Razz

I like DDR. I'm not that great, but I like it. Smile

I don't have DDR yet, so I'm stuck playing it at my friends' houses (not often) or at arcade places. But I really want Mario DDR. Yes, I'm a sucker for Mario too.

Same. I only wish you got to use like DK and stuff. On the Mario DDR you only get to use him and Luigi.

My sister's got one of those mats you plug into your PS2. Some dance game as well. Prob not DDR.

And yeah, avoid playing with the Japanese.

I play DDR, its a good way to get excersize. Its really fun, I can do all songs on standard and about half of them on heavy (on my version at least).

It seems that everyone who still plays DDR in Japan (there aren't too many people who do) plays on Heavy Doubles. It makes me sad. I used to be able to pass a few Heavy 9's on my home system, but I've always been stuck at the Standard/Heavy borderline when it comes to playing on the arcade machine. It's because I'm not used to playing with shoes on and the extra weight throws me off.

I'm still light/standard. Mostly light. I don't have DDR at home to practice on. Sad

I wanted to get Mario DDR, but my cousin's friend (a hardcore DDR...er) said it was too easy. Meh.

It is too easy. But I want it cuz you get to do boss fights.

I've been playing DDR Extreme 2, at my friends house a lot. It's pretty good. Try Speed Over Beethoven on Heavy mode. It's easy but its so fun.

Yeah. When I first saw it, I thought, "Hey! I'm a dancer! This will be EASY!" and I get on and bam, I suck on Light mode. DDR is so much fun and when a pro gets on it, people just swarm to watch. Last time I played in an arcade, me and my sister did it so much both of us sweated like crazy!

Ya! Getting the crowd is half the fun. And it's a pretty good workout.

Drawing a crowd? How unfortunate that the only places where I play on the arcade machine are usually overrun by people who are ten times better than me. I end up playing a few rounds and then fleeing in embarrassment.
