|
|
I woke up this morning, and the first thing I saw was that the site had deleted one of my old pics from three or so years ago, just because it was not turned the right way. I think this is really unreasonable, the picture has been on the site for so long then one day somebody on a whim gets rid of it due to improper rotation. Now, I can understand this rule, and can understand why you would not accept new art with improper rotation, but to just delete something that has been on the site without warning? At least give a warning, or a request to change it soon or else it will be deleted in a week or something. |

*sigh* That was probably me, I was doing some cleaning on a category earlier today and that was likely one of the two removed.
What we need is a "Warn" function (a sort of "half-delete") which hides the pic from the category and queues it on a separate list for review and possible deletion later if the issue remains. Enforcing submission guidelines is tougher than for the hard and fast rules, and retroactive enforcement (of either case) is tougher still.
In the meantime . . . sorry about the mess. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

You were just doing your job. Don't worry. ^.^
But a warn would be a great idea.
Do you think cstdenis could set something like that up?
Maybe I'm insane but I think you once had some sort of warning system or something. But I don't completely remember. |

Just use comments to warn. |

Yeah. But then I have to bookmark the page, or else I'll forget about it and nothing will happen. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

When I eventually make the report feature I'll add something for this into it.
But before that, I have to program a relestate site, a ecomm store, a loan application, and funart. |
