I know for a fact that Master Chief killed a herd of bears with nothing but a pair of pliers and an ankle sock.

For reference: 52 bears = one herd. Any more than that is a-f**king-LOT of bears.

Since when are Cloud and Sephiroth badass? D: I'm sorry. Sephiroth is a great character, but he's just an angsty mama's boy with a few mental problems. And Cloud, just... no. =(

Yeah, the eggs do have powers, Moron. Thats the point of the game, Practically.

But we havent seen a game where it's 'Billy Hatcher VS Spiky Haired FF Hero'. And we all know That Billy Hatcher would just f**king beat Generic Spiky Hair with the power of the Samba de Amigo hatchling.

Thats enough of me defending one of my great past times. :woot:

I'm sorry, but your bad-ass is someone who uses a big egg to defeat monsters. I'm not sure whether that's lame or just straight up stupid. It may be fun to beat on a baddie with an oversized omlet, but that does not particularly define the bad-ass nature. Let me show you something.

You see? THIS is a bad-ass. Gun drawn, ready to take on all opposition. Chiseled jaw set firm, with wounds that could stop any mere mortal. But not him. Dirty, unkempt, brow furrowed, teeth clenched, he will defeat all enemies and do it in true bad-asserey style.

Now, lets look at your example. Skinny. Big goofy smile. Wearing clothes that closely resembles that of a chicken. Seems to be about 12 years old, at the most. Looks like he could do about as much damage as a quadriplegic kitten. And, oh yeah, he fights enemies with a [i]big egg[/i]. Hey, I egged some houses last halloween, and I used a whole [i]carton [/i]of 'em. Guess that makes me a regular fuckin' supperhero.

Billy Hatcher is not a bad-ass. He may be "cool", he may be "hip", he may be "all the way live", or whatever the hell you kids say, but he is not bad-ass.

I don't want to get onto the 'badasses are really just dumbasses' subject, so I'll leave you with this.

I could constantly keep defending the honor of cute action platformer heroes, but I wont. Beacause we all know that if it has guns and kills things it will automatically be considered 'Badass' By the Majority of people, the Same could go for the ones with the big swords and Angst.

In the end, the characters who give you even the slightest sense of wonder lose.

But it was hystericle for that reason.

Picking up cars melded them onto your head.
You would often fly through/get stuck in enemies.
Half the game was "Fly throught these rings to defeat Lex Luthor"

It was f**king hystericle. If you can show your face after that game, then you are the ultimate video game badass.

I need to play that game sometime, I've never owned an N64 before.
