White Box Red Cross

I've looked hard but I haven't been able to find any topic that solves my problem.

Everytime I look at my gallery (only mine) the thumbnails work but if I select a picture to view it appears as a blank box with a red cross in the top left hand corner.

I have tried resubmitting the pictures and I have tried submitting them both from my computer and from another website where I stored some previously.

All the images are JPEG and vary in size from 136KB to 248KB, the images aren't particularly big.

If anyone can tell me what I've done wrong or direct me to another topic that can help me I would be very grateful.

The image failed to load; what you are seeing is a placeholder icon in its place.

What should I do?
This has happened to all my pictures. As far I know no one else has been able to view the pics either.

It works! I haven't done a thing and now the images are visible!
As for spyware that always causes lots of problems for me so I'll clean up my computer straight away.
