I used to think FF waz the best RPG series ever... dat was before I found Star Ocean! Unfortunatelly only few people kno all of the 4 games. Most of em do only kno SO2 and SO3. I'm lucky to have many friends who send meh japanese ROMs, so I do have SO1 and SO Blue Sphere.

SO3 might be quite good (my fave game) but I waz really disappointed to find out u can only get 10 different endings! In SO2 it waz more than 80! To quote Sophia: NOT NICE!!
I would kill for an AlNel ending!!! *_*
And now dat I did all the side quests and defeated all the optional bosses including Freya I'm a lil bored... even the Battle Trophy hunt wont help cuz I have all of the BTs (247) that r available on Galaxy Mode... guess dat means Universe Mode next time...

If you ask me, Blue Sphere really shouldn't count as an SO game. Basically all that happened was that SO2 made so much money, they probably just ganked out [really quickly] another game that goes over the SO2 ending just to cash in on the fans. '~' It wasn't very good at all, IMO.

Ur probably right! SOBS waznt as good as I expected.
(The manga is much better.)
Besides, I waz pretty much happy with my endings in SO2.
Luv da Precis x Ashton ending, and the Rena x Cloud ending (the one on earth!)

Let me see, for Star Ocean I checked up on most of the sights. I'm pretty sure I got all 86 endings. (or was it 87?) And I pretty much done with all the side-quests. (I love the bunny. I know it's random but he really does rock) So now I'm playing Star Ocean 2 over since I missed some stuff and I want to get a new ending. Just for curiousity's sake. For anyone who's played SO1, did you kill or keep Marvel? I killed her the first playthrough, but kept her through the second.

I kept her...
I don't have her in my fighting party cuz I prefer Joshua, Iria, Ratix and Cius.
But nevertheless I didn't kill her because she's one of my fave charas!

You know, I thought she was the closest thing to a Mary-Sue in the game. I only say closest. In normal terms she's faaaarrr from the average Mary-Sue. (need an example? Try Armony from the FullMetal Alchemist game. They might as well plaster Mary Sue on her forhead...)

I haven't finished that game, but I hope she dies. [At the last boss; I'm praying she gets mauled in some way or another...]

And of course Ed and Al won't care [too much]. *prays like mad*

Anyway, in SO... I never used that chick because... Well, why use a girl when you can have an all guy team? :3 ~<3
