I think it's mostly the girls. Females are usually more drawn to the cartoon art style seeing as to how it emphasizes beauty...

What I was realy refering to w/ the Broly thing was my character Rikuchan, who is kinda based on me but not enirely. And the liking anime guys thing is more of a wow thats a cool character kinda thing. No henti thoughts involved.

she's an anime guru i tell ya^^ lol yeah...she's watched a lot and knows...a lot about each and every one she's seen...which is scary...i don't know where she stores all that information along with the stuff we learn in school.

Of all the anime fans I've known, the majority of them are girls. I have a few guy friends who watch anime, but they aren't into fanart/fanfic/cosplay like my girl friends are. I don't watch anime, but I actually wouldn't mind seeing FMA. I've seen two episodes and it looks interesting.

Ehh, not my cup of tea. I've had a few friends ask me to watch Sailor Moon with them, and that whole beauty transformation thing with the ribbons and stuff has to be the lamest thing ever, imho, especially when that's how they prepare to fight or whatnot.

Call me sick, but I like the portrayal of adolecent mortality. You know, like Ed from FMA bleeding after loss of limbs or the children from Invader Zim having their organs ripped out. Even Zim's attempted execution in The Trial was particularly entertaining.
