Symmetrical.

I fail at drawing things that have to match up.
Asymmetry is my hero <3

as in, symmetrical is more difficult? or as in, it would make a picture intended to have that frightening vibe, frightening?

It's more difficult by far because one side must look similar to the other. Asymmetry always looks better anyway. It's less boring.

Pure symmetrical composition is tougher than assymetrical, like jhonen says. You have to deal with nearly the exact same thing on both sides, and this puts clear restrictions on what you can and cannot do.

Compositionally, symetry is used to unnerve the viewer. very, very rarely do artists and filmmakers use perfect symetry or centre their subjects exactly, so when they do they use it as a device to show that something is exceptionally important or unsettling.
asymmetrical definte cause in manga it dosent have much smmetry its harder to do then realism art
what? I'll make this clear once and for all
my question does not concern how much of a challenge either one is, it refers to how symmetry of sturctures and forms affects one emotionally

my question has been answered, i need no further advice

also, what you said is completely wrong, it is more difficult to do symmety. I mean perfect symmetry.

when did i post this? like a year ago? pay attention silly!

You probably recognize a pattern beginning to take shape. Not of the Fibonacci variety either, where said repetitions are woven into the very fabric of nature in some kind of cosmic mathematical coincidence that makes you wonder if there really is a design to everything after all, but more of Grandmother's quilt variety, where said repetition makes you wonder where in the world people can purchase such hideous floral pastel patterns and why they think you'll want to display them in your living room.
