Do photobucket images work with this site?

I have some images in my photobucket gallery that I wanted to add to my profile but I can't get any of them to show up. Do they work with this site? or am I just doing something wrong?

But it doesn't

Photobucket gives you the url, img code, and tag. I've tried all 3 in every way I way I know and nothing works, all I'm getting is an X.

Either the pictures are moved from the albume you linked them from, or your Photobucket isn't set to 'public'

There is a case-sensitivity bug with the BB code system on the site.

Rename it to be all lowercase.

No, its what I said. The url as she pasted it has capital letters in it, and a BBCode processing bug makes it lowercase thus breaking it.

As denis said, image URL's are converted to lowercase for processing, and this causes problems with servers that use case-sensitive links.

So when linking from a URL does not work, save the image to your computer and upload it from there. (In fact, you should already [i]have[/i] the image on your computer to upload . . . right?)

I know.. I type all the [img] [url] myself. I just delete the one provided, knowing it hasn't worked for others in the past.

Are you saying I should do it as my profile pic? The actual image I'm using is a banner for a contest, so I'm thinking it shouldn't be on as my profile pic.

Sorry, I was confusing the issue.

Try renaming all your files to lowercase text [i]before[/i] uploading them to Photobucket for linking elsewhere.
