Is it possible for Fac to not have advertisments that get in your face? I'm not talking about pop-ups exactly, cause I don't get pop-ups anymore. I'm talking about the ones on the mainpage unger the FAC logo. You roll your mouse over the ad and it gets bigger. Or it just does it on it's own while say you're in the middle of typing something. Really annoying.

The ads are what pay for FAC.

None of the ads should resize like that on their own. If you do see one that does screenshot it and let me know the following information:

* Your country
* About how many pages you have browsed that day before seeing the ad.

That information will help me track down the source.

Yes, I know that much, cstdenis. I'm not saying get rid of ads all together, just the ones expand.

* I live in the US
* They usually appear in the first few pages I few on FAC, like right when I open the homepage and right after I log in.

Usually when I'm scrolling down the page looking at a picture the ads open when they get to the top of my screen :/

I used to have the same problem, I don't know what I did to make it stop but it did. I thought the staff had just gotten new ads that did not do that.

*EDIT* are you running IE

Seems to me it stopped when I started using Firefox, I would look with IE, but IE7 fouled up this compy real bad when it was downloaded due to incompatibility with some tool bars, so I don't use it.

I made a change to the ad filtering system a while ago. Let me know if you still get them or if they have stopped now.
