First Anime -^^-

myyyyy fiiiirst anime was DIGIMON!!! yup! im not afraid to admit that i still have the first.....i think 6 episodes EVAH of the 1st season on VHS AND the 1st movehh! they live in my room (for sentimental reasons.....i dont watch them much anymore....*sniff*) i also keep a few Digimon action figures for their sentimental.....ness also. (I STILL LOVE TAKUYA FROM SEASON 4!!!!!)

my first somewhat non-little kid anime that got me reeeeeally anime obsessed and made me the crazed anime person i am today was Yu Yu Hakusho (im still obsessed to the point of insanity *huggles all the Yu Yu boys to death*)

and, animeguys4me, YOU EFFING ROCK!!!!! WOOOO DIGIMON!!!! *stuffs cookies through the compy screen in your general direction*

My first anime was Fly.

My first anime was Sailor Moon [quickly followed by Pokemon and Dragonball Z]. I used to run home after school to watch it and even drag friends back to my house because I absolutely loved it. My favourite character was Sailor Jupiter, at the time I was a huge tomboy and I could really relate to her [as in my head we look rather similar].

I loved Sailor Moon so much I named a troupe of my teddies after them all, there was: Luna, Serena, Artemis and some others [which to be honest, I can't remember their names anymore].

However, my first manga was rather high-class and set the bar for future mangas [so I'm rather critical]. I first read Fushigi Yuugi when I was 12 years old and I still love it now. At school, my friends and I used to swop books and had crushes on the various characters [I think my heart throb was Hotohori, whilst my best friend fancied Nakago and another friend was absolutely [b]in love[/b] with Tasuki. To this day she still fancies him].

We often used to have Cos-Play parties [I dressed up as Chichiri for the parties {my favourite character} and I went into school as him for a charity] and we FY mad until everyone else got "to cool for comic books".

So here I am, rathr not-so humble beginnings sparking off a love for manga [and a small love for anime].

Now whenever I watch the VHS I feel so sentimental...I even wanted to change my name to sakura! *sigh* I was so foolish back then...

when I was about 5 years, I watched the anime "Remi", after the novel from Hector Malot. I was absolutely crazy about it ^__^- It's too bad I don't remember that much from it... Kinda remember the openingstheme though! XD

It's kinda funny. Even when I was a child, I prefered japanese animations over western cartoons o.o

Well firstly i saw Pokemon. Shortly therafter digimon came on, then came ma fave DBZ and then it ended and along came Yu-Gi-Oh. Yep. At the moment im watching Bleach and HELL it's wierd! Rolling Eyes

hmm...meh saw sailor moon when i was 2yrs and finished it pretty quickly (seriuosly, sailor moon ish old!! a few yrs before i was born)
then the lotsa crap they show on fox/4 kids and ytv and yadda yadda..i wasnt even into anime until grade 9...i just liked watching cartoons ish all, deciding to go into animation and all that
so now i've basically watched over 100 different animes and finished over 35 of them

This probly goes WAAAAAY back. The first anime I ever saw was when I was 6, my mom had gotten a video tape for my sister when she turned 10. I did't realize it at the time, but it was an anime spinoff of the little mermaid and other anime shorts like snow white, the shoemaker and such.
The first time i became an anime obsessiee was when I was 13 and a bored thought to channel surf brought me to Cartoon Networks DBZ.

Little Nemo was an anime?! GAWD I thought it looked funky when I was younger! I agree with the nighmare thing; alot of parts in that movie scard me when I was little too. Shocked

I'd have to agree for me, that Pokmon was the first anime for me. I was in 4th grade. And, it was the hottest fad ever. So hot, that our teacher would send kids to the office or write them up or give them detention if she caught them with Pokmon cards. Confused

~~But, she WAS a nice teacher, though.~~

EDIT: Although I wasn't into them, DBZ and Digimon and Sailor Moon were others that I've seen.

First ever anime I saw was Akira. That was the anime that got me totally hooked. From there, I also watched Venus Wars and The Guyver. Also, there was things like Doomed Megalopolis, Odin: Photon Space Sailor Starlight (the dubbed one), Lensman... the list goes on.
