Nintendo for Christmas

My family is going Nintendo this Christmas. Starting with me getting us a Wii. My siblings and I plan to get our mom a DS and those 2 brain games for it. My sister will get Trauma Center for the Wii. I may get a Wii football game for my dad. Now here's the hard part. My brother. He is mostly into FPS(mostly war based) and racing games(both cars and ATVs). I need some help.
My first option was Call of Duty3 for the Wii but, he just had to go and rent the PS2 version. I'm not sure if he would want to play it all over again even though it would be on a differant system. Are there maybe some significant differances between the Wii and PS2 versions?
My backup plan would be Need for Speed:Carbon for the Wii. He realy likes that series a lot and is currently playing Most Wanted.
I am open to any suggestions.

Call of Duty on Wii would be completly different from the ps2 versian due to the compltly different control (Using wiimote)
