ATTENTION WII OWNERS!! Wriststrap recall.

If you havent heard yet, Nintendo is recalling the Wiimote wriststaps due to many cases of them breaking when people loose their grip on the controler. Nintendo is however offering to replace the old straps with newer, thicker ones.

This wouldn't be happening so much if people would keep a tighter grip on their Remotes. Yes, I've been in those long Wii Tennis matches against pro-level AI and get pretty mad when they score a game on me (especially when I'm playing both positions) and feel like I really want to hurl the Remote through something, but that's precisely the time that you should [b]take a break[/b] and cool off before the next go.

It's also people who get too excited during gameplay. A good example would be my brother. He was realy shaking the controller during Wii boxing. I'm glad I decided to order one of the new straps.

I heard they were recalling the wii cause the people were a little violent in their play and the controllers wound up smashing tv's and people- mostly people, but...

And they have a regular controller for the wii, like a gc controller, they're sending out to all the wii owners.

So frickin funny- for me, anyways...

Ah, this is great for me cause all my friends got a wii and I didn't and now they have to give them back, and I'm so happy...

Nope. Just the straps are being recalled. The system itself is perfectly fine.
