I had to write a Remembrace Day Poem one year. Here it is:


Remembrance Day

Fighting for all us Canadians,
They did their absolute best.
We dont know what it was like,
And now, they shall peacefully rest.

We prayed for their survival,
And wished for the war to end.
Many lived, but many died,
And now we all silently bend.

Bend to pray and appreciate,
For hard work that was done,
Which helped our wonderful Canada,
Shine by the light of the sun.

Your appreciation,
Is within a flower of the land,
Known to all of us as the poppy,
As we place them in our hand.

Meaning so much, its unbelievable,
As you wear it by your heart and sigh.
Pray for this to never happen again,
And for the men and women who died.


Steal this and die.
