Pokemon was waayyyyy better than digimon. Digimon was just a rip from pokemon. The song to that show is very catchy though...I found myself humming it once LOL. But pokemon DIED after they made more than 300 freaking chapokemans. And for some reason i never liked Pikachu >.> lol. James..Is a funny man though, love that guy. hmmm, I use to do the card thing too, even though i didnt know how to play it, tsh. elementary really was fun.

Digimon Adventure came only a few years after the original pokemon first aired. They pulled off the monster raising/battling concept in a much less repetitive way.

Also Digimon are way cooler. Countless options in digivolution ftw

actually i believe digimon came first in Japan...it came after pokemon only in america

you both are right digimon and pokemon came at the same time just digimon did not take of as quick as pokemon

Ahhh I never noticed this D8;

The original Airdate of the Pokemon anime is before Digimon. The Pokemon Games and Cards came before Digimon.

I agree... all these Mary Sue people make the story.. less enternaining, and
you can predict what's going to happen: The Mary-Sue is going to
constantly cry about her past, blah blah blah, then she finds happiness and love finding her romantic flawless partner, then she'll go from goth to a bouncy, preppy, schoolgirl.... Argh.

My fanfics are more of based on all of the characters in general, rotating between them, and of course, they all got flaws. Interesting, no? =P
